Sigh. Why do illnesses befall me one after another? Grr.. Now IM down with flu :( and people are "siam-ing" away from me once they hear im from SMU. -.- sigh. I hate being sick.. it feels awful. My taste buds are gone, and my nose is stuffy. And my head weighs a ton. Sobs. I think I ate too much steak this week.. Once on Wednesday night and another on Thursday night. Lols. The cow flu has hit me!!!!! Xiang boy boy brought me to eat at Breeks on Wednesday cuz its the night before our anniversary and Breeks was where we first met ( together with 2 of his boisterous army kakis) and Thursday, being the actual day of our anniversary, we had dinner at Ashton's ;)

Argh. So now im down with the darn flu, and I got to stay away from fried and heaty stuff. :( But I got a little naughty and ate pizza. HEHE.. cuz I made it MYSELF!! ah nick was in his 'chef mood' and dragged me to get ingredients to make the pizza. and this pizza is made chinese-style, cuz instead of ham, we used marinated minced meat with mushrooms. HEH.. but it tasted yummy all the same :P And papa took all of us out to Bt timah hawker centre yesterday, BUT I COULDN'T EAT MY FAVOURITE CHAR KWAY TEOW CUZ OF ONE STUPID FLU. sigh.. Anyway xiang is on a gaming spree, now that he has officially stepped down as a relief teacher. Such a pity though, all the children and their parents LOVE him with a capital L... LOL..i leave him to blog about how much those aunties and mums are going crazy over him. haha..

We celebrated Nick's bday at popo house today. Auntie ant bought a cake from crystal jade that is supposed to taste like tiramisu but welllll.. its just a cake that had lots of cream that tasted coffee-ish and a bit of sponge poking out here and there. The foamy creamy version of tiramisu. LOL.

BUH.. SoB... the visit to the chinese physician is not doing me any goood... after checking my neck and shoulders mama said the man most likely overdid it, as in he applied too much pressure. So this leaves me with more pain on my neck, and a terrible shoulder ache that wasn't there before i went to see that sick man :( So now i have to nurse some swollen arteries or veins of watever passageways that is clogged up there. Sigh. And i have CIP tmr.. groan.. and its PACKING of materials from 10am-5pm. My God. I think Im gonna be a stiff shit for the rest of the week.

So I slept a lot today..( but ah bao overslept wheeeeeeheehee) and when ah nick came home he insisted on playing that zombie boxhead game again. And this time, his character is stuck in the wall( yea, IN the wall) and so im left on my own to save our asses. Which is not a brilliant idea, cuz I CAN"T stay alive for more than 3 minutes. HAHA.. nick was literlly jumping up and down and telling me to stop playing like a noob or dope or lamer.-.- and cuz i was soooo frantic and desperate to help HIM out of that darn wall, I lined up barrels around the wall happily and well... I was too excited in laying the barrels like planting sunflower seeds in the ground that I didn't realise my ammo of barrels is used up. And cuz the com automatically moves on to the next weapon when one runs out of ammo, I ended up pressing the buttons too quickly and swtiched to a gun and blew myself up with the barrels. twice. and nick's character was still stuck INSIDE the wall. :( :( :(

Was an agonizing 10 minutes plus of screaming and yelling from my kick-ass bro. Sigh..

=( My neck is killing me! shit shit shitttttt. Haiz. So much activity over the last 3 days. A BOOMbastic weekend indeed.See, friday night was when I thought I can curl up in bed after checking my mails, but ah nick got all excited about playing boxhead since dinnertime when daddy brought us out for a yummy dinner. So, instead of sleeping early so that I can rest sufficiently to chiong for the weekend, I ended up playing boxhead with my lil' bro till about 1.30am >.< Lol.. but it was fun ( for me at least) cuz Im such a terrible partner in these online shooting games and I just whack and shoot in ALL directions. Hehe... ah nick ws screaming and yelling cuz whenever I pick up a new weapon I will happily shoot and er, I just shoot without even checking if he is standing right in front of me.HEHEHEHE... The whole thing is dammmm funneeee, cuz when Nick ask me to come back him up ( the zombies are closing in on him), my character trotted up to him and unwittingly lead the rest of the zombies to the TWO of us. And given my lousy aiming skills and lack of tactical judgement, I ended cornering the both of us with zombies and whats funnier is that I shot my own didi in the attempt to save us. AHAHAHAHAHHA... AH nick was dammmmnnnn pissed, cuz his jie jie is such a kuku. HAHAHA.. and I must say im damn stupid. I threw grenades IN MY PATH and NOT behind me where the zombies are following and ended up blowing myself to smittereens. And the rocket launcher? Whoa ho.. I shot it at such close range AND standing right in front of the wall that the impact killed me even before I kill the damn zombies. -.- HAHAHA... and ah nick wants to play again tonight.. to try and get better beyond our level 19 or something. LOL..

AHhhh but my neck is killing me. Cuz i sneezed in the toilet and the sneeze must have sprained some nerves in my neck. So now I can't even look past my shoulder or look up. And it doesn't help that the bloody pain is spreading to my shoulder blade. ;( You know how miserable that is? walking about and having to move my body each time I want to turn and look at something just because i can;t bloody turn my neck for nuts. And when i wash my hair, I got to tilt my head back gingerly but once I decide its a stupid idea ( I can just squat or move the showerhead higher but somehow it didn;t occur to me. Must be that the blood circulation is cut off from the neck upwards, preventing THINKING)I started standing up straight and well... the shampoo and water started flowing down my head AND my face. Kept spulttering out soap bubbles that got into my mouth. Sigh.

Well at least I had a very eventful weekend.. Spent saturday morning at SPCA attending the volunteer orientation and then met Ah xiang for his pri 2 kid's birthday party. The boys were sooooooooooooo cute!!!! When Ah xiang walked into MAcDonalds and towards the corner where almost the WHOLE class was, the boys shouted " LIANG LAO SHI!!!!!!" lol.. and some boys were pulling his hand or shirt or pants, trying to get his attention. SOme parents were there too, so Ah xiang had to mingle with them for a while, *giggles* while I watched the boys in amusement as the more cheeky ones tried to peek at him ( or me i dunno) HEHE.. The boys were SOOO noisy, I wonder how Ah xiang manages them everyday in school. But they are a lovable lot =) hehe.. the way they all scamble around the birthday cake and screamed and pushed and fooled around with the balloons and chairs. I bet the surface of the cake was covered with kid's saliva.. BUt it tasted nice anyway. HAHA.. I love little boys!!!

Later that night, Ah xiang went to his clique's birthday party i Jurong area while I went home to prepare... for Wee Keat''s birthday surprise! haha.. The clique was to come over to Ah xiang's house for a post-party mahjong session so me and xiang thought of giving the birthday boy a little surprise. After gulping down my dinner and showering at home, I went to Xiang's house and decorated the place with party streamers and lightsticks( sounds pretty romantic for a guy-to-guy party) and waited for them to arrive! and when the lift doors opened for the guys- birthday boy Wee keat, xiang, aik leng the Man U fan, Tian Lu the reindeer and Zheng Chen the PS king, I told wee to go in the house first and HOORAY! hopefully the lightsticks looked bright enough.. hehe... the girls- Christina my SMU senior, Hui Min, Ying Gu and Joanna JoJo arrived a little after midnight and thats when the p-p-partyyyy started!! The house was FILLED with noise, from the sounds of the mahjong tiles to the sounds of some football thingy aik leng was watching on youtube and the chattering of the girls. Heh and me? Cooking for the ever-hungry boys. HAHA... and I gave a crach course at cooking to the extreme hungries of the group-Tian lu and Zheng Chen. The 2 of them were superr funny, they actually lock up the kitchen door to prevent the rest from coming in and taking the food. -.- HAHA.. so we fried french fries and the chicken thingies we bought earlier. I think we made a huge mess in the kitchen , cuz a WHOLE wok of oil was used and the guys 'threw' the fries in, sending the oil flying up from the wok and staining the walls around. Heh.. And I got sleepy around 3am plus.. slept to the sounds of mahjong and youtube blaring outside the room. ah xiang said I slept like a pig. HAHA..

The next morning I woke up and the clique was asleep, scattered everywhere in the living room. some on the sofa, some on mattresses and veryyy interesting positions. Hmm. Heehee.. anyway , me and xiang went to roxy square to meet han and her friend and though we could't find the couple watch we wanted, Xiang fell in love with a fossil bag. The bag was solid man, and i thought it looked beautiful too. so tada! we got an anniversary present for xiang! heh.. had birthday celebration with my girls for melissa at bugis in the afternoon and by 4 pm, i was shagggged. damn shagggged... Slept like a pig ( again) on the train and when i got to xiang's house I only had 15 mins to change up and freshen up before going to republic poly for AJC's 25th anniversay concert. God bless.. the heels i put in xiang's house was 3 inch high and so poor me had to walk in them after a long night. and day. But the concert was nice, and funny too. cuz AJ tried to be innovative or creative or something and sooo, they had some guy do that DJ-rapper thingy with the mike and getting the audience to do the AJ rap. Like helloooo.. since when was there a AJ rap?!!!! and the chinese orchestra and symphonic band played pieces with tunes of the school song incorporated. -.- talk about being loyal to the school... hahaha...and u know how students and their friends bring flowers for those performing? the usual sorts include roses. gerberas, maybe lily.. but this strange guy walked in carrying chinese crysanthemuns. O.O Me and xiang stared in disbelief at his choice of flowers and xiang blurted, " huh? he bring that one to bai bai(pray) ah? " LOL...

And this afternoon i went to see the chinese physician . cuz my neck is sooooo pain. so didn;t get to go ah bao's house. ;( and ah bao is too sleepy and tired to come over for dinner. i think tmr i will be sleeping a lot.. hoping my neck recovers before i start my CIP on wednesday :(

okie, don't like typing much Cya ( to whoever is reading this) =)

GAH. Im feeling so sian. Sitting at home with nothing to do.Well, actually there's tonnes to be done but i don't feel like moving an inch to fold the clothes, clear the cabinet, pack Nick's stuff, etc etc. Maybe it has something to do with the horrible stomach congestion I suffered yesterday. My stomach is akin to a temperamental old hag, always fussing up and bringing on shittttt. Sigh, so after a painful dinner and an even painer walk back to xiang's house, I collapsed and curled into a ball on the bed. The pain was sooo damnnnn bloody intense that I could hardly breathe. Every breath I took made my diaphgram move and press on that bag containing the day's worth of food ( though it is ONLY beef lasagne I could taste from the burps, ewww) and the PAIN!good grief, it shoots up and then spreads throughout my whole back. And im still wondering why the hell my back aches when i have such stomach problems. Sigh... Anyway , after a few minutes, which really do feel like an eternity for me, cold sweat broke out in tiny droplets on my forehead. I was lying there like some woman in labour and xiang gave me a look of pity. " Nini, still very pain ah?" I could hardly manage an audible reply cuz first, my airway seems to go on strike and second, using any strength to make out a few words is like the intensity of doing 50 crunches under a minute. So xiang lay down beside and just held my hand while I tried to take my mind off the pain by focusing on the bird-like thingy on his liverpool frame. The pain presses on for the next few excruciating minutes and then xiang turn and asked me if he could lie on my stomach. I was like, croaking "are u trying...to... kill... me...???!!!" then i thought i heard him say yes and the next thing i know, he was lying on top of my stomach.

The weirdest sensation happened,because i can literally feel all the wind being pressed out of my stomach and strangely enough, I felt better almost instantaneously. After xiang lie on me long enough to make me say 'oww", I sat up and coughed, and coughed, and then... I went to the toilet and puked. The feeling sucks.. its like some cosmic force pulling the food upwards from my stomach and all the half-chewed and undigested food cam sliding out of my mouth and into the sink. It was not a pretty sight, and xiang had the misfortune of seeing me puke. Ackk.. The disgusting part was having to mop up the mess before it chokes the sink and after xiang handed me kitchen towels, the orangy gloop was dripping from the edges of the paper as I tried to scoop everything up. EWW EWW EWWWWWWWWWWWW.

I think that is probably the most disgusting thing a guy everrrr have to see coming out from his girl. Not nose dirt or burps or farts or bad breath but SLIMY PUKE that reveals the choice of lunch that day. Sigh. And im still feeling super sian now. Maybe i'll just go youtube and watch some shows. Sigh.

im so tired.... and sleepy.. even though me and xiang slept our whole afternoon away today. HEHE.. My muscles just refuse to move. So Xiang was trying to wake me up by nudging me, but he'd might as well just get a response from a dead duck. HAAH.. and the funny thing abt xiang is that as he sleep, his head will move and move and edge my head out from the pillow, so my head is like pushed off ;( buuuuh.. big head xiang! LOL..

Me and mama and ah Nick had lunch at Sakae Sushi yesterday! Been a lonnnng time since we ate sushi together liao. Mummy as usual, ate her jellyfish, sotong that tastes like crap( why not crab, sob?) and seaweed. I had my salmon sashimi, ITS A MUST! and then when ah nick arrived he started taking food off the belt like its armaggadeon the nest day -.- And i just realise sakae have those reallly cute frog mouses. HAHA yeah yeah frog mouse? A frog or a mouse? :P nah.. its the com mouse.. haha

okie im so lame. anyway, went down to SMU for the children's camp briefing.Turns out there's only TWO volunteers during the entire briefing.. me included. HAHA. I hope I wun end up having to look after 20 kids on my own!!!!!!I'll probably just pass out and die. on the spot. LOL.. then I went to find my hanney at her counter. POor gal, she's gonna be stuck there for a few more months it seems.. and while im there, she suddenly grabbed my arm and moaned and asked me, "daphne, do I look darker?"
HAHA.. she has been fussing about her skin ever since that fateful day in bintan when she went to bathe and then come dashing out from the toilet to re-confirm with me if her skin has gotten any darker. *giggles* well well... she got a little bit darker but it was not very significant. But my lovely snow white still wasn't assured by my less-than-convincing answer that the tan is not obvious, and she stood in front of the mirror mourning over the passing of her pale skin. HAHA..

After xiang arrived ( that cute silly boy almost walked in the direction of shaw house when its taka he shld be heading towards) we went to get ice cream and some food for the hungry boy. The lemon and mint choc ice cream from gelato was YUM!!! and xiang had a chicken wing. The auntie POURED chiili sauce over the wing so it turned out to be... not so nice? haha cuz xiang is not a big fan of chiili :P unlike me!and we finally made a reservation for our anniversary dinner at augus steakhouse. :) hope the food will be good.. just 200+ grams of that cow meat will cost us abt $53, not including the tax and everthing >.< gasp.. and the dinner with his friends was cancelled due to some reason and we ended up eating noodles at cine. LOL.. the kimchi had weird ingredients inside... UFOS. Unidentified.Floating.Objects.Scoffs. and we went back to causeway to watch angels and demons! Xiang so cute, dinner wasn;t enough for him so he had nachos and cheese. Which reminds mre of that time we had nachos at GV and cuz i was tired of hoding the tray with one side filled with chips and the other with cheese, I dumped all the chips into the cheese and told xiang to eat from there. HAHA... the chips were well soaked in cheese.. and soggy. BUt it tasted good, oddly.hehe.. sigh. im so shagged.. BAO BAO ARE U SHAGGED TOO??

Memoirs of Bintan =D

Day 1......
hoola hoola.. to tanah merah ferry terminal we go!! Little miss ducky dragging her big bags to woodlands bus interchange to meet yi fang. The huge Alice backpack i was carrying whacked the face of a sec sch boy in the lift when i twirled around.HAAH..After checking in we boarded the ferry and cam whored while waiting for the ferry to set off. Me and Han got soooo lame and we made so much noise on the ferry that Im frankly surprised no one came to tell us to shut up. LOL.. Poor ah fang got sea sick and had to curl into a ball.. when we reached the customs at Indonesia the man at the counter was sooo -.- He asked each of us lame questions and so, naturally we gave him lame answers in return. He asked where I am going and I was stunned for a moment. So I replied, " Er... Im going Indonesia, Bintan...? (well heck, I AM ALREADY on your island dude,)" and then he stared at me for a while like i was sprouting rubbish then i said, 'er... Nirwana Beach club...?" -.- LOL.. Then we went on the bus and got to the resort and the place was SOOO EMPTY!! hehehe... We spent the first day checking out the place, changing into our bikinis and jumping into the pool at Nirwana Resort Hotel. The poool was AWESOME!! Its looked as though its overflowing to the sea and we had fun lazing in the water till dinner time. There was a cute little Japanese boy and he was playing with a giant yellow seal float.And because it was too high for him to get up on it, Han wanted to try getting on top of it. LOL.. her 1st attempt failed, so she flipped and fell into the water. And our feisty han didin't give up, she went for it again and SPLASHED!!! she FLIPPED 180 degrees into the water again. HAHAHAHA... the boy's dad was laughing along with the rest of us.. Han's hair was plastered to her forehead when she surfaced and I laughed even more. HAHAHAHA...Dinner was at a posh-looking Thai restaurant al fresco style and we girls gossiped and bitched about stuff over dinner. hehs..

Come nightfall was where all the screaming and shrieking started. Cuz while Han was bathing, a darn cockroach crawled on the floor near the door. So, she came out from the bathroom stark naked and told me good luck with the cockroach since I was the next to bathe. Brrr... I HATE COCKROACHES..And so i went in, stripped and glared at the cockroach for a while hoping it will go away but that stupiddd thing didn;t and when i was done bathing, that THING crawled up the door frame and thats when i HAD it. I wanted to kill it but Han said we must be merciful ( ?!!!??) so she tried to catch the cockoach and fluch it down the toilet bowl instead. AND guess what??? she used the toilet paper to try and catch the cockroach but its looks like she's carassing the cockroach form my view cuz she's so gentle with it! And as I yelled and shrieked the cockroach happily crawled all the way up to the top of the door frame and when I went , "HANNEYY!!! Its at the top already!!!!!!!!!!" She finally used a little bit more force and TADA! the cockroach dropped and fell on her. HAHAHAHAHA.. Both of us jumped onto the bed and screamed like crazy and then Veron and Fang knocked on our door. LOL they must be wondering what the hell is going on cuz their room is just next door. So, after letting them in,Han and I went back to catching the DARN F***ER and han used a cup to catch it. The problem is, she used the toilet paper to cover the top of the cup and the cockroach ran to the toilet paper. HAHA so essentially, there was only the thin paper seperating the cockrach from her hand. HAHAHA... poor hanney keep chanting "oh My God Oh My God" while I opened the door and then she fled outside to the grass patch and threw the cockroach out. The 3 of us in the room could hear her screaming in her high pitched- voice as she flung the thing out.. HAHAHA... then all of us played poker and the loser was made to drink. Earlier on at the ferry terminal we bought 12 cans of heinekin and han brought along a bottle of white wine from home. We switiched to playing Indian Poker and Yi fang kept losing, so she drank almost half thge can herself. LOL.. and she kept BURPPPING really loudly due to the gas, sending us into laughing spamsms each time she BURRRPPED.. hehehe.. the 4 of us went over to Veron's room to sleep after that. So cozy...4 girlies squished into 2 beds joined together. Han was pulling our blanket the whiole night so I end up curling very verrrrry close to her to try and get some of the warth from the blanket. LOL..

Day 2......

Breakfast was a la carte and the 3 girls ordered a LOT of eggs. Cuz the order sheet didnt give proper instructions, Yi fang alone ordered like, 5 eggs?! Ham, Mushroom , Cheese, Mixed and some other ingredient. LOL... After the less than egg-cellent breakky, we spent the rest of the day basking in the sun. All of us except Han went to the beach and slept on the sand with the waves lapping against our thighs. It was so relaxing.. the sand, the sun, the seaaaa... ahhhh.... and bless us, we were there sun-tanning at 12 pm, when the sun was directly above us. HAHA.. All of us went to the pool bar around 3pm and had finger food! Soaked damm long in the water till our skin wrinkled like raisins but it was fun nonetheless =D I think we spent about 6 hours in the sea and the poool in total.. what a life.. SHIOK!!!

We went for massage after that and Veron and Han stayed at Nirwana resort hotel for their head, neck and shoulder massage while me and Yi fang went to Mayang Sari's Keraton spa for a energizing massage. And the service there was FABULOUS!!! we were waiting for the 'car' to come pick us up as the lady at the reception said it would and I was expecting some cart or something to come fetch us. when a Honda Sedan pulled up at the driveway, I grabbed fang's arm and whispered, "that honda can'tbe for us righttt????" and then the lady came and said it was for us. HAHAHA... We squealed in surprise and climbed in and before long we reached the spa resort. the place wasso beautiful! they decorated the entrance with REAL flowers everywhere and the room which we were given was GORGEOUS!! I was so sua ku though.. the massuer told me to put my bag on the table and I actually opened this oven-heater thingy cuz I thought it was the safe. -.- the minute the 2 masseurs left us to change into the sarong, me and fang turned and whipped out our cameras and started snapping away. LOL..The massage was relaxing...~~ me and fang fell asleep cuz it was so soothing!

Dinner was at the Kelong. For the first time in 7 years, we girls had Chinese food together! LOL..There was a fabulous spread of assam sotong, stir-fried chicken, drunken prawns, mapo tofu and sambal kangkong. Dessert was honey dew sago :D With so much good food and heineken and maggi mee for supper at night, it was no wonder I was 3 kg heavier when i weighed myself last night. :( buuuuh... After dinner we walked out the kelong to the bar and saw a sky full of stars! Fang complained that it wasn't nice enought though..felt the sky at Cambodia was nicer. HAHA... and halfway through, the shuttle buc came and we RAN from the kelong from the sea all the way to the bus. HAHA... the waiters were staring at us 4 girls as we zoomed past in our flip flops flinging our arms and shouting 'wait! wait!' We manage to caytch it in time phew!! I think we were all shaggged out after a long day and we slept at 12 am plus. Han and I did some obscene poses on the bed for our candid camera shots.. HAHAHA...

Ahhh... and the lst day was just packing up and doing some souvenir shopping. I think im gonna miss bintan a lot.. eapecially when I have to start doing CIP work. Bleagh...

IM BACKK FROM BINTAN~~~ and im so sticky and red. Bleagh.. Waiting for mummy to come out from the bathroom.. Bintan had been SO MUCH FUN!!!!! haha but im too lazy too tell you all about the trip now, will keep it for tmr heh hehs. Yawn..

My ah bao is so sweet, he came to fetch me at Causeway point and we had dinner at Pastamania! Slurp! I can't seem to get enough of seafood now. hahaha.. then he was my bell boy and carried my heavy barang barang home. haha.. the rest of the girls laughed at my bagguage, cuz I have almost DOUBLE the amount of stuff they brought. Ah fang kept calling me 'Mama' LOL!!

oh right...and i'm reading that damn book that the damn gal left for me before she went on her spree in bintan. That book came at a really wrong time lol kinda sad, its called the wedding survivor then inside the protagonists -> wowing me with their antics and stuff..most importantly a lot of love has been going through inside so this little daphne ducky really made me miss her a god dam lot..seems like i'm swearing a lot but this has got to do with the book too =)
not bad for a book, once again it has some adult content that miss ducky will prolly skip but i think they are quite interesting hehe

im so excited!! In a few hours time i will be on a ferry to bintan!! WHEEE!! hehehe.. me and han are still fussing a little over what to bring. That girl of mine wants to bring alcohol over to a beach resort in case we find the urge to celebrate. -.- hahahaha...

I had lunch with yi fang this afternoon at ichiban and we were commenting on how the atandard seems to have dropped. The soy sauce smells weird and looks weird too, cuz it was a gooey thing that came out from the bottle. And the tea in our cups looked... different. haha.. cuz the tea in 1 glass looks yellow but smells ok, the tea in the other cup looks ok but smells funny. and my salmon sashimi was a miserable thin slice =( I miss the thick thick cuts at the japanese market in marine parade. Sigh. Anyway, I was telling yi fang about the stuff im bringing to bintan and she stared at me in disbelief when I said I want to bring clothes peg and string there. Well, we need to hang our clothes right? right? right? hahaaha yi fang says the string part is seriously auntie.. hhehehehe.. I think im bringing a truckload of stuff there... and im getting paranoid abt the level of hygiene. Almost wanted to ask xiang if he had the pills they use in army to clean the water. -.- bleagh.. Soooo... now that I have finished packing ( YAY!) my bag looks like.. its packed for a week's stay in some ulu place like timbuktut or papau new guinea. HAHAAHAH.. i have tonnes of lotions, creams, equipment ( yes, equipment) and even soap powder. To wash my bikinis in case seaweed or some sea slug got trapped in it or something. heh.Am I prepared or am I prepared? :D

Whoo.. i think i should sleep soon.. dun wanna rock off to sleep on the ferry,drop into the water and get swept out to the south china sea tmr. HAHAHAAH... bao bao take care when im away k!! Hugs.. I'll be a good girl!! Im missing you already.. Hugs!

We are sooooo broke... dammit. hahahaahah.... me and xiang spent EVERY SINGLE DOLLAR in BOTH our wallets.. had to resort to using NETs to pay for some stuff in the end. hehe..here's why...

Gift-a-name was having some mega sale at causeway point... so... we bought a DIY table drawer and a DIY box. 2 days before I bought a DIY book holder and a pillow(for our now non-existent doggie) :( and we wanted to buy some more stuff on thurs night but because we didn't have enough cash with us and the counter only accept cash, we have to forgo some other cutsey pooh and disney stuff. Sigh.

On friday we refilled our wallets and went to clarke quay to buy the locket necklace that is really running out of stock. It was a fun night but a boom in our pockets cuz I can't stop but pop my head inside every shop we walk by.HEHE.. But i didn't buy much bao bao!! I only LOOKED :D I think the fancy pocket shop is cool.. they have swaroski crystals in packets that u can stick on anywhere, like on the handphone or even the toilet seat if you want. hahahahaha.. And i bought a lovely glittery blue heart-shaped necklace! the only bad thing is that the chain is soo freaking long. What did the shop think, rambos or the hulk coming to buy hello kitty necklaces?! Ah xiang had to think of some way to shorten it. I don't know what he did exactly, but he sure did a damn good solid job of shortening it cuz I had a blooody hard time trying to get the necklace out when i got home. Admist all the tugging and shrieking, the chain broke. HAHAHAHAAH... well, at least i can now use the plier and do some permanent shortening. hehehe.. And before we got to fancy pocket, we passed by waraku and the wax figures ( pretty round figures i must say) of the food made us stop in our tracks and go "ooooohhh..." and "aaahhhh...". The smell of curry and fried eggs and other yummy stuff was soo appealing to our noses and taste buds, we knew we HAD to eat there. So after shopping, we happily went in and spent some time looking throught the menu. Everything looked so good, we didn't know what to order for about 15 mins.hahahaha.. we had takoyaki balls, curry with beef and potato omelette rice and hamburg steak risotto in the end. The risotto was so yummy, xiang kept doing the cross-eye face each time he took a spoonful of it. And he looked like he was going to have an orgasm when he ate more of it. HAHA.. should have taken pics of him doing that..slurp..i love our dinner!! I feel like a stuffed cow when we walked out.. After dinner we went to the japanese supermart in the basement and bought 2 bottles of soda. Haha the story behind the soda that gets our little xiang so excited and bouncy is that there is this little ball the size of a marble inside the bottle. So, we need to punch the cap with this plastic thingy they provided, and the marble ball will sink and suspend somewhere near the mouth of the bottle. Then, when u tip the bottle backwards and drink, the soda will react chemically with the ball and tada! you get foam and fizzy white stuff. Hehehe.. xiang has been wanting to try this drink again after the last round I showed it to him ( which is many months back) and the 2nd time we came the shop was closed. So its our luck that we came early and the drink is there!!

We sat along the steps of the river and xiang was swaggering his bottle and holding it as though it was a beer bottle. hahaha.. when he asked me if he did a convincing pose of a drunk man, I said "er.... its soda, boy.." hahaha and he pouted and showed me that squidy look again. so cute :P We sat a while watching some crazy dodos play the extreme bungy thingy, and after looking at them forlornly for a while, xiang asked if we can try it. I was like O.O NO WAY!!! the look of it is enough to make me puke out the curry, rice, egg, beef, soda, and maybe even all of my organs out.Try THAT crazy psycho thingy.. hoho... im a chicken. cluck cluck.. But we walked over and gaped at the game-ho ang mohs try the extreme swing anyway. hahaha.. it looked kinda fun.. well.. maybe.. maybe i will try it someday. like, if I realise I failed my exams and want to find a quick, thrilling way to die. THEN i will try. heh heh.

I bought 2 bikinis for my bintan trip at clarke quay too!! they were having a sale, and xiang helped pick out 2 really bright ones. hehehe.. but he looked sad after I bought it, even though he told me I was literally beaming like the 300watt light bulbs at the store after I paid for the bikinis ( in cash again) and walked away in glee. Then he said he didn't like others looking at me in just that skimpy piece of cloth. I was so touched. :) hehe.. he's such a sweetie.. MUACKS!! And cuz the night was still young, the air was like being in the middle of the sahara desert and we were pretty tired of standing, we went to the bungy pub and ordered cocktails. Xiang ordered hurricane, and I had Illusion. Dunno what the heck they were but the names sounds nice so we ordered without even asking the waitress what it was. haha.. Well, the drinks look gorgeous when it arrived! his was red in colour, mine was green. And i was a bit puzzled when the drink turned out to be green, cuz i thought a name like illusion would be some bluish drink. and to that xiang said, 'well, thats why the drink is called illusion. U can think of it as blue..." -.- hahahah.. silly boy... After sipping and trying my cocktail , the hippo boat came down the river behind us and then xiang suddenly turned his head sharply. cuz he thought it was raining by the sound the boat made when it cruised upon the water. hahahahahah... the drink really lives up to its name boy...illusion... ho ho ho..



So, the drinks plus dinner plus necklaces must have cost a total of around 100. And guess what? We went shopping again today. hahahahah... Cuz I needed to go daiso and get some stuff, and since we were at vivocity, we ate at Marche. Lunch was yummy!! We had the swiss risotto with italian cheese hotdog, ribeye steak, mushroom soup as the main course and swiss roll stuffed with chocolate and apple pie for dessert. Another sinful meal.. Oh Glutton God save us..



We went ot the rooftop pool and played in it for a while.. and naughty xiang slammed his Big Foot into the pool when we were somewhere in the deepest part and splashed water all over half my skirt >.< and then he refused to let me dry it. hahaha.. and we saw this 3 elderly people doing balloon sculpting at a corner! the balloon scupltures were soooo NICE!!!! they could do amazing stuff like a princess with tiny details like the beads on her dress, her tiara and her long flowy blonde hair. There was also a brown labrador, some poodles and a robot. Xiang was pointing at the half-robot-being-made and as the lady added the finishing touches to the balloon, we were swooning ovr it cuz she managed to blow a balloon within a balloon to create the head! Come to think of it, I think it was an astronaut that she was making. a head within a head? doesn't make much sense lei... haha.. anyway, xiang the sweetie bought me an elmo balloon scuplture!!!! SEE!! ITS SO DAMN NICEEEE! :DDDD heheheh thanks bao bao! HUGS!



On the way back to the MRT xiang was super funny, cuz my eyes were popping out at all the signboards saying "SALES 20% OFF" and I kept dragging him into all the stores with sales that xiang had to pull me out by force.When we walked past one area that had lady assessories going at $5 only,I was soooooo desperate to get to it but xiang covered my eyes, LITERALLY with his huge hands and walked me off even before i can take a closer look. Buuuh.. saves me the heart ache i guess.. but.. but... 5 BUCKS ONLY!! Bleagh...

After all the good food that we have eating these 2 days, whats a better way to end it then with even MORE good food? lol.. xiang's papa brought us to eat crabs!!! and there were prawns too.. and since he dun eat the prawn heads which i adore, he shoved the heads to me, and 'copped; some from uncle liang and dumped them on my plate. I end up eating about 8 prawn heads.. My cholesterol level must be at the red zone man.. hehehe.. Xiang had a fun time learning how to get the flesh out from the crab's legs from his papa. Uncle liang is a pro at it, he SUCKS the flesh out. Hahaha so ah xiang said his dad must be a suction tube or something in his past life.hahahahahaha.... so bad.... after dinner we fixed up the DIY drawer. poor xiang's hands bled from trying to get the cardboard fitted in. And it was only after his fingers suffered that awful cut that we realise we folded the cardboard sides inwards when it should have been folded outwards. So all this while we were trying to force the darn thing in when it was clearly too fat to squeeze in. hahaha.. ah xiang was sooo sleepy after the box was fixed up that he lay on the bad and fell asleep within minutes. Lol.. So i stuffed his things inside the drawer and stitched up my pooh pooh while he snored gently behind me. heh heh heh..

buuuh.. im so tired.. but not sleepy yet. The joints at my legs feel twisted, cuz me an xiang went swimming today. Heh heh.. our maiden voyage into the water TOGETHER!!Ah xiang may be the leopard on land.. but im the flying fish in the water!!! Or so i think, dunno if flying fish is fast anot. HAHAHA...We stripped ( WHOO!!)to our swim suits, xiang in his cutsey little black trunks *giggles*from army days which he paraded in his room before we left, and we headed to the pool for a splashing good time~ Ah xiang seems to sink the more he swims and I don't know why.Then he tried abut 8-10 different renditions of the frog style, all of which he made it up himself in the attempt to swim faster.I wonder which one was the correct stroke... HAHA..Then we went to deepest part and competed to see who can stay underwater for the longest time. For some odd reason, I kept floating to the top while xiang sank to the bottom. So we tried to interlock our arms and.. well I still floated up and I brought xiang up with me too. If a lifeguard walked past, it'll probably look like 2 corpses drifting at the surface of the water. muahahaha...After our laps, we went to the baby pool to play, cuz they had a slide and waterfalls! Yes yes.. we are still kids at heart you know.. hehs. And we did something naughty under the waterfall.. :P We stood there close to each other.. and we held hands.. and...

We peed together into the pool.

Muahahahaha... I hope no kid tries to drink swimming pool water. Lots of nutrients, from the wrong source. hehehehe.. Xiang was so cute, he climbed the steps of the playground and me, staring in shock, told him to come down, cuz I dun think they will allow a 1.81m tall, 70kg 21-yr old MAN to play on its slide.True enough, the 2 lifeguards who have been staring at us( for quite some time i think, from the time we looked 'dead' in the adult pool till we enter the baby pool)signalled to xiang that the slide is not for adults. HAHAHA... damn funny..

We watched wolverine yesterday, and xiang was unhappy at the ticket pricing.Cuz the woman demanded 2 student passes for 2 tix, and we only had 1. So shitty right..His voice was raised and he looked so pissed that I actually got a bit frightened and taken aback. If he was the one dealing directly with that woman over the ticket counter I think she would have to suffer the wrath of his anger.. hahaha.. but it was a good show! Wolverine i mean, lols. We went to East Point mall to have fries (again) but ended up looking at puppies for quite a while. The puppies were so adorable! And xiang took out the stuffed duckie I gave him to play with the westland white terrier . Lol.. the dog yelped and tried to grab the duckie! Then we saw the pet groomers trimming the hair off a really, really FAT cat and a shih tzu. The cat looked so grumpy and pissed at being touched,it kept trying to squirm away and pull itself forward while the groomer was pulling its tail backwards to get it back on the table. HAHA.. When my bestie arrived we had KFC cheese fries ( her craving this time round) before we went to her house for dinner. I think I have an issue with fry eaters. -.- Xiang adores fries, and han have the occasional craving for that deep-fried, salted and cancer-packed mutilated potato strip. Ends up I had french fries 3 times that day. -.- save meeeee...

Coffee greeted us at the door when we arrived hehe.. Coffee is han's taiwanese shih tzu and she's absolutely CUTE!!!! She recognizes my smell after all these years I think.. but Xiang is foreign to her. So... we 2 girls witnessed a bit of bonding session between Ah xiang and coffee.. It was hilarious. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

SPCA

wahha,recently our dearest gal daphne decided that it would be fun if we have a dog..
so guess what!! we went to SPCA today to see if we could pick up any for adoption -.-
its pretty obvious we didn't get to do it lol if not you'll see pictures of a dog on the blog. so this is what happened:
1. we're supposed to wake at 930 so that we can get to SPCA early =)
2. take train to tpy and bus 28 10 stops and walk to SPCA =)
3. Adopt a dog =)
4. Get home for me to do some marking =)
5. Go to popo house to eat dinner
And this is what happened:
1. Slept too late previous nite so we woke at 10+ LOL
2. Did take a train to tpy and bus 28 for 10 stops -> but too bad 10 stops didn't take us to SPCA LOL and after we walked quite a while we ended up lost and wanted to get a cab..somehow when we're trying to flag a cab while walking around we reached SPCA like 2-3 km away from where we alighted? LOL
3. Once we reached there i was like "oh gosh shld we get a guinea pig instead?" and ah ni was like "baobao, i wan a cat!! or kitten !! wee" and of cuz i gave her the NO TO CAT face hehe..so we ended up looking around the kernels and the cat cages too lol..they have this special corner for like 5-8 cats inside to play around de..i went in and wow actually cats are fun to play with, but still i think they are very strong spiritually -.- and one of them actually tried to bite me when i tot its playing with me zzz
so oh well we ended up only taking a look around SPCA and BOY! its my 1st time in SPCA i'm kinda surprised and not surprised at the same time lol
nevertheless its a fun place maybe u guys wanna go there and take a look sometime =)
4. ok marking i did do the marking with the help of miss NINI flipping the pages and calculating the final scores of the KIDS for me..their comprehension is incomprehensible -.- horrible OMG
anyway something random that i learnt from the kids

5. and ah ni's aunty sarah and uncle kok wee + their kids joelle and joy didn't go to popo house today so we ended up settling dinner ourselves at my house =)
its fun cuz today we deep fried japanese chicken + fries + cook maggi mee..its shiok man deep frying stuff to eat,the taste is just OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG i wanna do it million times again hehehehhee => but i'll prolly get killed by daphne and her mum and her aunties LOL
well its quite a fun day cuz we ended it off by watching the xtremely confusin show LAKE HOUSE on channel 5 haha..so while i'm typing this blog entry,i'm on the phone with ah ni and amazingly we didn't speak for a long duration cuz when i asked her what's she's doing...guess what...she's blogging too,so i guess both our entries might be very similar =) ok thats all for today,lengthy one that i typed =D

*SHIVERS* its pouring heavily now and i am trying to 'siam' the flashes of lightning flashing their stuuupid butt around. Just now there was this gigormous flash, no, BALL of light at the window and I screamed. Damn scary.-.- dammmit.. had to move to the living room becuz of the flashing lights (sounds kanye west-ish, heh)lest i wanna risk being electrocuted. Sobs.. So here I am, sitting all alone in the dark, dark house typing away. The house looks menacing, and it seems like tonight is not the first encounter with such spooky 'stuff'. When Xiang walked me to the bus stop earlier, we could smell the scent of jasmine,really strongly, as though there is someone who just sprayed a whole bottle of perfume on her and walking near us. Xiang looked spooked out and he ask if I could walk him back home when he is actually walking me to the bus stop home then. -.-

It's been a long day! We went to SPCA today to look at the doggies and the kitties cuz xiang and I have been thinking of adopting a puppy.I wanna to try a cat too but xiang says a big, fat NO to that cuz he doesn't like cats. When I asked him why, he gave some vague answer about being superstitious -.- welll... he could go into the cattery there and play with the cats, and even try to carry one partcularly stubborn cat relentlessly. Lol you should have seen how xiang tried to coax the feline creature into coming towards him. Xiang kept disturbing the cat and touching the poor cat everywhere until the cat gave a lovely imprint of its tooth on his hand. HAHA.. but its those kind of mild imprint, not really a bite else i think xiang would have flung it across the cattery. HAHAHAHA.. We saw a few lovely kittens too and my heart aches for them :( they are so adorable!!and beautiful!!! SIGH. Too bad I can't bring any of them home.. mummy will kill me. and the cat. :( the dogs there were so active and they kept barking, and when we went to the adoption gallery, me and xiang had our eyes set on piper, a cross breed mongrel. But she's not approved by HDB, like MOST of the dogs there so we could only stare at her and make coocie noises. BOO HOO~ :(( We spent the whole afternoon there and both of us were covered in fur. hahahaha.. cuz the cat which we played with apparently had a dandruff problem. Its losing its fur!!!! MUAHAHAHA there was so much tiny bronze hair stuck on our shirt and arms!

Ahh.. what a day.. what an exhasting day. Especially since I had lousy shitty memory and made us got off at the 10th bus stop when we should have gotten off at like the 15th bus stop. HAHAHAHA.. we walked from bartley road to upp serangoon road and then finally to mt veron. xiang could have killed me for making him walk under the heat at 2 in the afternoon. HAHAHAHA.. im such a klutz. And we still play catching at the overhead bridge somemore. ROFL..hehehehehehehehehheeee

But its all good exercise, since we ate so much junk food yesterday. Papa drove us and my granny, aunt and uncle to joo chiat for dinner :D Whoooo! The walk to the hawker centre was an eye-opener. Cuz there were pretty young vietnamese babes stationed every 3 metres+ waiting to pounce on young, innocent boys like my bao bao. muahahahaha...and i will pounce on them. literally. >.< Uncle yeou's eyes seem to be roaming all about.. heh heh.. and Nick was dammn funny, cuz after walking for quite some distance he turned around and made a sad face. then he say, " haiz.. im so insulted, none of them approach meeee..." HAHAHAAHAHA u are too young my dear brother.. and underage! and er, under-developed? HAHAHAHAHAHA..

Dinner waa superr yummy, but very unhealthy!!! we had frog's leg porridge, fried kway teow with a lot of cockles, Oyster omelette, fried chicken wings, satay and otar. And because our dear xiang doesn't eat much shellfish i ate up his share of cockles and a lot of oysters. I'll be damn glad if I dun get hepatitis B after this meal man. And chrolesterol. Urgh... And we went to Geylang after dinner ( another round of food.. puke..) LOl I wonder if we drove them for the fruits or the "melons" HEHEHEHEHEHE.. but ah well we end up with dao huey and you tiao. hehs.. and xiang and nick were engrossed in talking about army and weapons. -.- boys... The 3 of us went to an aquarium shop along the way back and at the front of this shop was this giant tank with an assortment of fishes inside. The funny thing is that the fishes inside look like the type u will find at a seafood restaurant. Some looked ready to go with some ginger,spring onions and soy sauce.YUM.I saw tutu's descendants.. :( tutu was my beloved luohan-minus-the-bump fish and he died at 4 years old. sigh.. feel nostalgic...

Bleagh i hope the rain stops soon. Okay, I think just the lightning stop can liao. So that I can go sleep.ZZZZZ..
