Another week to go!!

YEeeHAaa.. just one more week to go before i can FLY!!

Studying is so tiring. Especially if it just involves plain memorizing. I hope I can get an A!!!

And because of all the stress from exams.. we must find ways to relax. HEHE. and this means spending money.. because I'll go on a shoppping spree~~ John little having a 20% discount on all products!! muahahahaha.. I think i added to xiang's stress when i smsed him and told him about this sale. hehehehe.. cuz he has to physicallly restrain me from loading my basket with all sorts of products.

I am one shopper who actually needs a shopping BASKET for cosmetics and facial products. >.< hehehehehehhe

well.. other than pulling me away from the make up counters and cupping me eyes with his big hands to stop me from looking at the make up stuff ( I feel like a horse with blinders boohoo) he is my walking calculator too. muahahaha.. girls, guys are useful to be around when you are shopping! helps you calculate which brand is cheapest after all the discounts.

so here's what I bought yesterday!!

Bought some other make up tools too.. and so i spent a grand total of nearly $100 yesterday.>.< felt ecstatic and sad at the same time. parted with the money I would have earned this Sunday when I finish with my ambassador work. Sigh.

And here's some random pics from my phone!!

Xiang with a nose mask i did for him. hehe he looks like some tribesmen >.<

Me with false eyelashes. Sick of studying and decided to play around and i think my eyes look disproportional to my face.

HAHA.. guess what? Read in my social psychology textbook that apparently, girls with HUGE eyes ( like THIS) small noses and small mouths are perceived as the most attractive. Like anime characters. READ: unreal/alien/genetic mutation/in your dreams

A cute doggie at the AVA dog roadshow I was helping out at West Coast. There were so many doggies there! like schnauzers, shih tzus, poodles, malteses and a great dane.

The great dane is rare in Singapore because of its size (Its around 1.2 metres when all 4 paws are on the ground, whereas a typical schnauzer is about 30cm tall, so you can imagine how big it is). Here's how it looks like

And here are pics of my dear Gigi!! =)

Study study study

Its the season to be studious! exams in a week.. ahhhh

So me and xiang bear are having a study camp at my place! so far so good, managed to have some work done though that boy keeps playing runescape at every avaliable chance. -.- we watched barbie and the 3 musketeers this morning and barbie being barbie, 'is like, oh, soooo totally!' bimbotic. she's so bimbotic, its almost funny cuz here we have her and 3 other ditsy dolls in pinks and purples fighting off some evil people to save the prince. As if that can even be remotely possible. -.-

Had snowy flakes with milk for breakfast!! yum.. going to granny house for dinner later. I bet my cousins are dying to play with ruixiang gor-gor.. since he volunteers to be the horse or superman most of the time. Kids like that. HAHAHA

We watched paranormal activity yesterday, and 2012 on its opening day. both movies were good, but the paranormal activity one was.. SUPER BORING at the beginning. I dozed off on xiang's lap halfway cuz it was so.slow.moving.and.monotonous. plus the camera kept moving here and there and i just had a big bowl of fish noodles so i think i will puke if i look at the screen for more then 3 mins in a row. Ackkk.. but luckily we brought along a blanket. Yes dears, we brought a blanket into the cinema.... because
a)Cathay cinema at causeway is damn cold, it almost made me urine ice-blended pee, especially during the 2012 scenes when the poor dudes were caught in the storm and all. So i learnt my lesson and brought a blanket for the next show. and
b)We honestly thought paranormal activity would be scary. as said in the papers. darn.

Sigh, i hope to finish studying soon... i wanna play!!!

late night madness

I am so exhausted from all the projects that my dear friend-Mr Flu Bug has come to visit.

And his visit is preceded by a series of disgustingly disgusting bugs on my lappy. Just killed some beatle thingy that landed on the keyboard.. and the oily, bigger beatle that i captured yesterday is still alive in its bottle. Dammit. I thought it wouldn't last that long.. especially since I twisted and amputated one of its leg yesterday night. To hell with all bugs.

Haiz. 3am.4am.5am. I wonder when i can sleeeeeepppppppp.

But thanks all you guys and girls who have been jiayou-ing me all the way!

--> My fav group mates from social psychology class! You guys make my day in school! I love you mi! haha sounds so les >.<

Don Buri and Mi and Mee!

--> Jiahui and my CAT group members, who are working feverishly on the excel model. We have version 12 to date.. >.< Thanks for all the effort you guys put in.. I know I have been slacking for this project!!! And especially to Yen Chin and Yik ka who created and done all the amazing macros and pivot tables!

--> Dominic, who seem to appear at strange hours and talk about damn random stuff. haha.. keeps me awake.. thanks man.

--> Hanney, who is suffering( a worse fate? haha) in office and school. we are so fucked by work my dear. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

--> My bao bao! Who have to put up with my eccentric behaviour and sudden outbursts. and impulsive shopping( retail therapy eh) where he insists on paying.. I feel so bad. =( sigh.. Lets work hard squidy! for As and A+++s!

This is called being bored on the train. With nothing to do and 2 very stretchable faces. I hope we don't become like Jim Carrey.. skin gonna sag sia.

1 more month to go!

I had a nightmare. I dreamt a tsunami happened and I was running away. Running, running.. all I remembered was how exhausting it was.

And so I woke up exhausted.

I think the dream goddess is hinting to me that some tsunami is about to hit daphne land. Tsunami of projects i guess. Its depressing how these darn projects suddenly surge and race towards you. Next thing u know, kaBOOMZ! you kena hit and you drown and die.

BUt then again, we all pray like siao that we will not die even thought the chances of surviving are slim unless you so heng, the Gods smile upon you and give you a pole to hang on to.

And as we all know, the pole never materializes, not even a sampan for you to crawl into. Thats how cruel this project tsunami is. You not fast enough, you dieeeee.

=S

Thurs 7-11.30pm: Statistics meeting with my dear Chun fei and Sikan.
- Went gaga with chun fei when we saw a rat running towards the bin at Subway. We thought the rat was cute. Sikan thought we were bonkers.
- Threatened to whack Sikan if he still dun come up with the right solution to Qn 7c by 11.15pm.( He gave us 3 wrong answers within 10 mins. And yes, we expected him to give us the answer to Qn 7c. Cuz we let him copy our answers from Qns 1 to 10.)
- Made him go home and fins the right answer. Left school at 1130pm.

Friday 5-10.30pm: Social Psychology Meeting aka International Friendship Day
Group members:
Troung Van Mi, the cutest girl form Vietnam!
Somsy aka Robert, the Laos-Thai-Vietnamese linguist
Ripeng, the best singer from Hangzhou of 'One Night in Beijing'
Viji, the accountant that will do the Indians proud
Don, the crazy Korean fanatic
Daph, the gooon.

Was having much fun in the project room doing our project and listening to 'the moon represent my heart'. Robert's all time favourite. LOL..
I think this is the only group where communication is the best, despite the different accents flying in the air. Great gang to hang out with!

Saturday 2-6pm: Computer as an Analysis Tool Meeting. damn stressed.
Tension sia. Presentation on Monday and we are like.. 50% completed only?
gonna continue part 2 of this meeting tmr. Sigh.
