Gift-a-name was having some mega sale at causeway point... so... we bought a DIY table drawer and a DIY box. 2 days before I bought a DIY book holder and a pillow(for our now non-existent doggie) :( and we wanted to buy some more stuff on thurs night but because we didn't have enough cash with us and the counter only accept cash, we have to forgo some other cutsey pooh and disney stuff. Sigh.
On friday we refilled our wallets and went to clarke quay to buy the locket necklace that is really running out of stock. It was a fun night but a boom in our pockets cuz I can't stop but pop my head inside every shop we walk by.HEHE.. But i didn't buy much bao bao!! I only LOOKED :D I think the fancy pocket shop is cool.. they have swaroski crystals in packets that u can stick on anywhere, like on the handphone or even the toilet seat if you want. hahahahaha.. And i bought a lovely glittery blue heart-shaped necklace! the only bad thing is that the chain is soo freaking long. What did the shop think, rambos or the hulk coming to buy hello kitty necklaces?! Ah xiang had to think of some way to shorten it. I don't know what he did exactly, but he sure did a damn good solid job of shortening it cuz I had a blooody hard time trying to get the necklace out when i got home. Admist all the tugging and shrieking, the chain broke. HAHAHAHAAH... well, at least i can now use the plier and do some permanent shortening. hehehe.. And before we got to fancy pocket, we passed by waraku and the wax figures ( pretty round figures i must say) of the food made us stop in our tracks and go "ooooohhh..." and "aaahhhh...". The smell of curry and fried eggs and other yummy stuff was soo appealing to our noses and taste buds, we knew we HAD to eat there. So after shopping, we happily went in and spent some time looking throught the menu. Everything looked so good, we didn't know what to order for about 15 mins.hahahaha.. we had takoyaki balls, curry with beef and potato omelette rice and hamburg steak risotto in the end. The risotto was so yummy, xiang kept doing the cross-eye face each time he took a spoonful of it. And he looked like he was going to have an orgasm when he ate more of it. HAHA.. should have taken pics of him doing that..slurp..i love our dinner!! I feel like a stuffed cow when we walked out.. After dinner we went to the japanese supermart in the basement and bought 2 bottles of soda. Haha the story behind the soda that gets our little xiang so excited and bouncy is that there is this little ball the size of a marble inside the bottle. So, we need to punch the cap with this plastic thingy they provided, and the marble ball will sink and suspend somewhere near the mouth of the bottle. Then, when u tip the bottle backwards and drink, the soda will react chemically with the ball and tada! you get foam and fizzy white stuff. Hehehe.. xiang has been wanting to try this drink again after the last round I showed it to him ( which is many months back) and the 2nd time we came the shop was closed. So its our luck that we came early and the drink is there!!
We sat along the steps of the river and xiang was swaggering his bottle and holding it as though it was a beer bottle. hahaha.. when he asked me if he did a convincing pose of a drunk man, I said "er.... its soda, boy.." hahaha and he pouted and showed me that squidy look again. so cute :P We sat a while watching some crazy dodos play the extreme bungy thingy, and after looking at them forlornly for a while, xiang asked if we can try it. I was like O.O NO WAY!!! the look of it is enough to make me puke out the curry, rice, egg, beef, soda, and maybe even all of my organs out.Try THAT crazy psycho thingy.. hoho... im a chicken. cluck cluck.. But we walked over and gaped at the game-ho ang mohs try the extreme swing anyway. hahaha.. it looked kinda fun.. well.. maybe.. maybe i will try it someday. like, if I realise I failed my exams and want to find a quick, thrilling way to die. THEN i will try. heh heh.
I bought 2 bikinis for my bintan trip at clarke quay too!! they were having a sale, and xiang helped pick out 2 really bright ones. hehehe.. but he looked sad after I bought it, even though he told me I was literally beaming like the 300watt light bulbs at the store after I paid for the bikinis ( in cash again) and walked away in glee. Then he said he didn't like others looking at me in just that skimpy piece of cloth. I was so touched. :) hehe.. he's such a sweetie.. MUACKS!! And cuz the night was still young, the air was like being in the middle of the sahara desert and we were pretty tired of standing, we went to the bungy pub and ordered cocktails. Xiang ordered hurricane, and I had Illusion. Dunno what the heck they were but the names sounds nice so we ordered without even asking the waitress what it was. haha.. Well, the drinks look gorgeous when it arrived! his was red in colour, mine was green. And i was a bit puzzled when the drink turned out to be green, cuz i thought a name like illusion would be some bluish drink. and to that xiang said, 'well, thats why the drink is called illusion. U can think of it as blue..." -.- hahahah.. silly boy... After sipping and trying my cocktail , the hippo boat came down the river behind us and then xiang suddenly turned his head sharply. cuz he thought it was raining by the sound the boat made when it cruised upon the water. hahahahahah... the drink really lives up to its name boy...illusion... ho ho ho..
So, the drinks plus dinner plus necklaces must have cost a total of around 100. And guess what? We went shopping again today. hahahahah... Cuz I needed to go daiso and get some stuff, and since we were at vivocity, we ate at Marche. Lunch was yummy!! We had the swiss risotto with italian cheese hotdog, ribeye steak, mushroom soup as the main course and swiss roll stuffed with chocolate and apple pie for dessert. Another sinful meal.. Oh Glutton God save us..
We went ot the rooftop pool and played in it for a while.. and naughty xiang slammed his Big Foot into the pool when we were somewhere in the deepest part and splashed water all over half my skirt >.< and then he refused to let me dry it. hahaha.. and we saw this 3 elderly people doing balloon sculpting at a corner! the balloon scupltures were soooo NICE!!!! they could do amazing stuff like a princess with tiny details like the beads on her dress, her tiara and her long flowy blonde hair. There was also a brown labrador, some poodles and a robot. Xiang was pointing at the half-robot-being-made and as the lady added the finishing touches to the balloon, we were swooning ovr it cuz she managed to blow a balloon within a balloon to create the head! Come to think of it, I think it was an astronaut that she was making. a head within a head? doesn't make much sense lei... haha.. anyway, xiang the sweetie bought me an elmo balloon scuplture!!!! SEE!! ITS SO DAMN NICEEEE! :DDDD heheheh thanks bao bao! HUGS!
On the way back to the MRT xiang was super funny, cuz my eyes were popping out at all the signboards saying "SALES 20% OFF" and I kept dragging him into all the stores with sales that xiang had to pull me out by force.When we walked past one area that had lady assessories going at $5 only,I was soooooo desperate to get to it but xiang covered my eyes, LITERALLY with his huge hands and walked me off even before i can take a closer look. Buuuh.. saves me the heart ache i guess.. but.. but... 5 BUCKS ONLY!! Bleagh...
After all the good food that we have eating these 2 days, whats a better way to end it then with even MORE good food? lol.. xiang's papa brought us to eat crabs!!! and there were prawns too.. and since he dun eat the prawn heads which i adore, he shoved the heads to me, and 'copped; some from uncle liang and dumped them on my plate. I end up eating about 8 prawn heads.. My cholesterol level must be at the red zone man.. hehehe.. Xiang had a fun time learning how to get the flesh out from the crab's legs from his papa. Uncle liang is a pro at it, he SUCKS the flesh out. Hahaha so ah xiang said his dad must be a suction tube or something in his past life.hahahahahaha.... so bad.... after dinner we fixed up the DIY drawer. poor xiang's hands bled from trying to get the cardboard fitted in. And it was only after his fingers suffered that awful cut that we realise we folded the cardboard sides inwards when it should have been folded outwards. So all this while we were trying to force the darn thing in when it was clearly too fat to squeeze in. hahaha.. ah xiang was sooo sleepy after the box was fixed up that he lay on the bad and fell asleep within minutes. Lol.. So i stuffed his things inside the drawer and stitched up my pooh pooh while he snored gently behind me. heh heh heh..
what a dayyyyy... yawn.. I should be sleeping soon too..
