squishy poo

sigh. yup its been ages since i last posted.haven't been a delightful mood.. so couldn't find the energy to write much about emo stuff. The two nice events that happened was the BBQ at bixiu's house with the girls and rx and the National day dinner with my girls. BBQ at bix's condo was pretty fun, cuz we had tonnes of food and a whole bottle of chivas! Han mixed a few cups for me and i think chivas with sprite tastes the best. HAHA.. we also tried it with zappel, coke.. too bad there wasn't sweetned green tea. Lol.. during Indian poker, me and rx were sabo-ed and had to start the fire as forfeit.. grrrrr... but it was nice sitting next to my baobao fanning and getting dirtied by those darn charcoal pieces =)

National Day dinner with the girls was a mixed feelings affair.It was a damnn damnnn tense dinner cuz everyone was not in a good moood.Firstly, it was meant to be a birthday dinner for the birthday girl but surprise surprise! the birthday girl didn't turn up. -.- And the reason was 'i can't make it', then became her grandfather passed out.on friday. soo... on sunday still passed out? and what pissed veron off was that this girl have never reallyy been close with her family, so the grandfather one is pretty much an excuse. We dun know for sure what the REAL reason is, and the birthday girl made no effort to explain or even sound apologectic. ah wells. she has declined like 90% of alllll our outings so some of us have officially cast her out from our group and all future outings. which is a sad thing, really, cuz that girl have no idea what a terrible mistake she's making. to the birthday girl: if you are reading this, we're not going to hate you or anything. we are disappointed, cuz our friendship goes back 7 years. Don't make the same mistake i made last time, cuz your friends, especially the girls who grew up with you, are all you have if anything goes wrong-a break up, stress, issues, anything. I think you should apologize to bixiu especailly, becuz she took the pains to organize this birthday-party-without-the-birthday-girl-present. On a side note, becuz u failed to turn up for whatever reason, her parents forbid her from coming to this outing which SHE PLANNED cuz they didn't see the need for her to attend. She deserves an apology, and it would have been very nice if she had been able to come.

We don't hate you, but we sincerely hope you take a serious note of this.

The girls and I managed to have some laughs and fun though, during dessert at Ben & Jerry's. Ordered the merlion( trust me, the ice cream looked nothing like the fishy lion) and had a night of sinful indulgence. Ice cream, brownies and chocolate bits!! sat at Macs to talk.. though a great deal of time is spent on hair topics. hahaha.. melissa our beauty consultant was telling us about this shampoo.. and yi fang became soo bent on getting it, she continued talking about it on the train. hahahahahah..

And well, I was in a pretty foul mood too on Sunday cuz someone very close to me failed to turn up for dinner as well. Its just very very disapointing, when you made a date with someone and that person fails to materialize.For you guys, its like buying tickets to see liverpool, chelsea, man U etc etc and then on the day of the match, some player made a fuss( i dunno wad kind) and thematch got cancelled. Just when u are decked in the lovely jersey you saved up for, and with the banners and flags etc. That initial feeling of euphoria is just..... destroyed.Gone. and in its place you get a field of disappointment. For girls, im sure you know what i mean. Its like your crush agreed to meet you but on that day, didn't msg to affirm he's coming.worse still, as you assure yourself that he would NOT forget, thinking he's probably just busy or something, he suddenly became uncontactable.As the minute ticks past and its nearing meeting time, you look at your phone anxiously every 5 mins and wonder why is it that you get a black, blank screen instead of the much-awaited message. You think,' he'll not disappoint me, i just know he won't.' and then wait with renewed confidence for your one-and-only love to turn up. Your confidence strips away, bit.by.bit.by.bit. as every face in the crowd is a total stranger, and the realization that he has stood u up slowly creeps in.

But hey, everyone has his reasons for right? And the reason being that he didn't know he would be this late.

I dunno if its just poor planning or time management, or some deeper issue.A friend of mine told me that when 2 pple get comfortble with each other, they tend to take things for granted.
And that is one slippery path down towards misery and heartbreak.

WEll.. i hope we all learnt something from it. It would really break my heart and tear my soul if i ever had to end a relationship with someone i love so much, so much.
